Steven P. Greiner

Steven Greiner, Ph.D., is responsible for managing the Schwab Equity Ratings team’s activities in model upgrades, maintenance, production, operations, and new product development.

Prior to joining Schwab in 2014, Steven had many years of experience in portfolio management, quantitative strategy development, and multi-asset-class risk modeling, as well as in applying statistical methods across a variety of disciplines. He is the author of two Wiley Finance books and sits on the editorial advisory board for the Journal of Portfolio Management. He holds a Ph.D. and M.S. in Physical Chemistry from the University of Rochester, and a B.S. in Mathematics and Chemistry from the University of Buffalo.
