PRIIPs Regulation
For Our Options, Futures and Futures Options Customers Located in the European Economic Area and United Kingdom
The key information documents ("KIDs") below are being provided pursuant to European Union ("EU") regulation No. 1286/2014 ("PRIIPS Regulation"). This regulation requires the development of KIDs for packaged retail and insurance-based investment products ("PRIIPS"), which include options, futures, and futures options. KIDs are intended to provide retail investors located within the European Economic Area ("EEA") and United Kingdom ("UK") with an overview of the PRIIPS, including a risk assessment and must be available to retail investors in the language of the investor's home country.
PRIIPS Regulations apply to option, futures and futures options contracts offered to EEA and UK Retail Investors. For example, the CME Group exchanges and ICE US are each required to develop and provide KIDs for futures and futures options products and, in turn, Charles Schwab Futures and Forex LLC is required to make these KIDs available to our retail customers located within the EEA trading futures and/or futures options. Charles Schwab Futures and Forex LLC does not contribute to, review or approve the content of the KIDs, and is not responsible for the accuracy or reliability of information in the KIDs.
KIDs provide you with key information about options, futures and futures options. They are not marketing material. The information is required by law to help you understand the nature, risks, costs, potential gains and losses of these products and to help you compare it with other products. You are encouraged to review the KID and consider carefully the information contained therein before making a decision to purchase the PRIIP.

Please note that PRIIPs Regulation is only applicable to customers located within the EEA and UK. US customers are not impacted by PRIIPs Regulation.
